Social Impact Lab

Startup help for "Social Startups

The "Social Impact Lab Stuttgart" supports start-up teams for social enterprises in the start-up phase with the scholarship programme "Wirkungsschaffer". The scholarship includes professional coaching, workshops and a workplace in a Co-Working Space.

The aim is to support such start-ups whose concepts aim to solve social challenges in an entrepreneurial way, so-called "social start-ups". The founders can use the infrastructure of the "Social Impact Lab" for eight months to put their idea into practice and gain access to financing.

The non-profit umbrella organisation "Social Impact gGmbH" is represented at seven locations in Germany as a start-up centre with its own premises. The "Social Impact Lab Stuttgart" was opened in September 2017 at the Merz Academy. Due to the high relevance of responsible entrepreneurship, the Karl Schlecht Foundation supports the "Social Impact Lab Stuttgart" for three years.
